1. Who we are
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “AU IPTV Pro” refer to the business operating from 487/2 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia (ABN 41 220 991 883). We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide and support your subscription:
- Contact details — your name, email address and mobile or WhatsApp number, so we can send credentials and provide support.
- Order details — the plan you purchased, its start and end dates, and the payment method type (for example “Visa ending 1234”). We do not store full card numbers or CVVs; these are handled entirely by our payment processors.
- Technical service data — the device type you told us about, your connection IP at the time of streaming, concurrent stream counts and connection timestamps. This is used to deliver the service, route you to the nearest server and detect credential sharing.
- Support correspondence — the content of emails and messages you send us, kept so that the next person who helps you has the context.
- Website analytics — aggregate, non-identifying page and visit statistics.
We do not collect or retain a record of which individual channels or titles you watch, and we do not build viewing profiles about you.
3. Why we collect it
- To create, activate and maintain your subscription line
- To provide technical support and setup assistance
- To process payments and issue refunds
- To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised credential sharing
- To send service notices, such as a reminder that your subscription is expiring
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations
4. What we never do
- We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We never share your details with advertising networks or data brokers.
- We never send marketing messages to people who have only made an enquiry, unless they asked us to.
- We never require you to give us more information than the service actually needs.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We disclose limited personal information only to:
- Payment processors (for example Stripe or PayPal), which receive the details necessary to complete your transaction and handle those details under their own privacy policies.
- Upstream service providers, which receive a technical account identifier — not your name or contact details — in order to provision your line.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally compelled to do so by an Australian court order, warrant or statutory notice.
Some of our infrastructure providers operate servers outside Australia, including in Singapore. Where personal information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient does not breach the APPs.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of first-party cookies to remember display preferences and to compile aggregate visit statistics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to function normally without them.
7. Data security
Personal information is stored on access-controlled systems protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it to do their job. We review access logs regularly and require multi-factor authentication for all administrative accounts.
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
8. How long we keep it
Contact and order records are retained for seven years after your last transaction, to meet Australian taxation and business record-keeping requirements. Technical connection logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted. Support correspondence is retained for 24 months.
9. Accessing and correcting your information
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Email support@auiptvpro.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
10. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified to active subscribers by email.
